The photo exhibition highlights life under Russian occupation in Crimea and the persecution of journalists, activists, and relatives of civilian prisoners. Photographs and personal stories document repression, arrests, and the suffering of those affected and their families.
A special focus is placed on the experiences of the Crimean Tatars, who continue to show courage despite years of repression and refuse to give up hope for justice. The exhibition sheds light on ongoing human rights violations in Crimea and honors the bravery of citizen journalists who document the truth despite great personal risk.
At the exhibition venue, visitors will have the opportunity throughout the day to write postcards to Ukrainian civilians currently imprisoned in Russia. Materials and instructions will be provided on site.
