Around 700 people are trapped in the city of Kupjansk in Kharkiv region, with no safe escape routes, no water, no medicine and no hope of help. Our Ukrainian partner X-Traverse is one of the last organisations evacuating people from the surrounding villages. X-Traverse also runs a mobile clinic to reach people in frontline areas who are cut off from healthcare.
On 11 November, while evacuating seven people and three dogs, a mine placed by Russian drones exploded and severely damaged the X-Traverse vehicle. Fortunately, all evacuees remained unharmed. However, the X-Traverse vehicle is completely destroyed and must be replaced urgently so that life-saving evacuations can continue.
LIBERECO pledged to fund a new vehicle so that life-saving evacuations could continue. Help us purchase an off-road ambulance and save lives.
